Another day calls, but the light feels thin.
A silent storm brews deep within.
The world moves on, unaware,
Of the weight I carry, too much to bear.
Another night falls, shadows creep,
In the quiet darkness, promises sleep.
Another son lost, another daughter too,
Gone to a place where pain can’t pursue.
Tradition paints with black and gray,
Condemns the soul that cannot stay,
Yet if we look with kinder eyes,
We would see the pain, not just the disguise.
Break the silence, speak the word,
Let your voice, like a song, be heard.
In the stillness, where pain may dwell,
A simple “I am here” can break the spell.
Reach a hand, though trembling it may be,
To lift the burden no one else can see.
In the light of kindness, hearts may mend,
For every reach can save a friend.
No more shadows, no more fear,
Together, we stand, holding near.
One act of love, one word, one stand,
We break the silence; we reach a hand.
