Rio, Imkong Imchen, Ao Senden, AKM condole demise of Jemtimenba Mollier

Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, has condoled the demise of Jemtimenba Mollier, Class-1 government contractor, who passed away on 27 April after a prolonged treatment in New Delhi.

Rio stated that Jemti was not only a successful contractor and entrepreneur but also a philanthropist and compassionate man, who always had a soft corner for the welfare of society and had undertaken several charitable works. Among many others, he mentioned the “Jemtimenba Mollier Foundation,” which was established in 2014 with the aim of promoting Ao Naga literature.

In a condolence message to his wife, Rio called Jemtimenba as a dear friend and a brother with whom he had so many wonderful memories. He added that in his demise, the Ao community in particular and the Nagas in general have lost a patron and it would be difficult to fill the emptiness.

Rio further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for peace of the departed soul.

Imkong L Imchen, Advisor, Information & Public Relations, Soil & Water Conservation, also condoled the demise of his friend, Jemtimenba Mollier. He was the husband of Dr Nandira Tiamongla Changkija, Retd. Principal Director, Health & Family Welfare.

In a condolence message, Imkong described Late Jemtimenba as a self-made man who struggled on his own and established his business. Imchen said he earned his own livelihood and was always generous to help others, further mentioning that Late Jemtimenba married his college classmate Nandira and went on to have a blessed family.

‘It is unfortunate that my friend Jemti should leave us and go so early, his untimely demise is a significant loss to all of us,” Imchen stated. He prayed that the Almighty grant solace to all the members of the bereaved family and to all the near and dear ones and that his soul rest in peace.

The Ao Senden also condoled the demise of Jemtimenba Mollier who was the Treasurer of Ao Senso Telungjem Chumoukedima. In his demise, Ao Senden said an irreplaceable pillar of ASLB/Ao Riju has been lost. It also said that his contribution toward the promotion of Ao language and literature will forever be recorded in history. Ao Senden prayed for divine solace to the bereaved family and peace for the departed soul.

Meanwhile, the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has described Jemtimenba Mollier as one of the most notable personalities among the Aos, a philanthropist and a veteran in the field of business. It added that he was a compassionate soul, who never hesitated to offer his services for the good of all and contributed much to society through his great wealth of wisdom and experience.

“At his passing away, we have lost a visionary leader and towering figure who was an inspiration to many, both young and old alike,” AKM said in a condolence message. “It is not only an irreparable loss to the family members but also to the whole Ao community in particular and the Nagas as a whole,” it added.

AKM extended sympathy and condolence to the bereaved family.

The funeral service for Jemtimenba Mollier will be held on April 29th at 9:00 am at his residence in Seirhuzha Colony, Chumoukedima.
