Kohima, January 30 (MTNews): The most essential repair of the road from the Civil Secretariat towards the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare and Home Guard Department was repaired from January 28, 2023 under the initiative of Principal Director, DH&FW, Dr Temjentsungla.
The much awaited road, according to the department, had been a great hurdle for quite some years and especially during monsoon seasons where the employees and travelers of all the adjacent offices were facing problems due to poor road condition.
“As it was a prerequisite for smooth operation of office work, Dr Temjentsungla, Principal Director, prioritized and initiated the road repair. She expressed hope that the newly repaired road will aid better functioning of office work for the employees, visitors and all travelers in all the offices,” a press release from the department stated.
The Principal Director also extended gratitude to all the departments who rendered help in cash and kind which immensely aided the successful repair of the road. She conveyed her acknowledgement and gratitude to the departments of Home Guard, DIPR, Horticulture, Statistics & Economics, Transport, Land Resources, Science & Technology, Water Resources and officers and staff of Directorate of Health and Family Welfare for all the help rendered.
