As we prepare to celebrate Christmas, the Rising People’s Party (RPP) would like to extend the heartiest of greetings to the people of Nagaland on this joyous occasion.
The RPP, after a year and a half of its existence, is full of gratitude to the people of Nagaland for all the support shown towards the Party. The RPP acknowledges the fact that without the support of the people, it would have been impossible to expose all the acts of corruption and misgovernance being committed by the ruling government such as ghost projects, decades long incomplete multi-crore buildings, corruption cases involving ED, fuel adulteration racket, rampant backdoor appointments, COVID controversies, and so forth.
The RPP also lauds the support of various student organisations and pressure groups which ultimately led to the High court ordering the functioning of the NSSB. In fact, the functioning of the NSSB has proven to be a boon for the underprivileged sections of the society, who now have a chance through free and fair recruitment examinations as opposed to the previous system of appointing well-connected candidates in the guise of departmental exams.
The RPP believes in the strength of people’s power to bring about a much needed electoral revolution. So as we gear up for the next election which is just around the corner, the RPP urges the people of Nagaland not be persuaded by money, clan, village/tribe politics and instead resolve to embrace fairness in the true Christian spirit. Only when we elect sincere and God fearing leaders can we expect the right kind of changes required for Nagaland to progress.
The RPP prays that the spirit of Christmas may infuse everyone’s life with hope, positivity and joy. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
