Runway India, as the skill training partner, successfully completed a comprehensive skill training program on Banana Fibre Extraction and Product Development in three locations in Wokha. The training was organized by Shishoi Oshom-ETF Cell in collaboration with the District Administration of Wokha. This initiative was sponsored by the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) under their CSR & S scheme for the year 2023-24.
The program was conducted across multiple locations, including Meriyan Village, Elumyo Village, and Niropen Colony in Wokha Town. Key aspects of the training sessions included hands-on experience and practical insights into the process of banana fibre extraction and product development.
“The support from NEEPCO under their CSR & S scheme played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of this program, underscoring the importance of corporate social responsibility in driving positive community outcomes,” an update from Nemi, team Runway India said.
