A guest seminar and interactive session was conducted by the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Technology on February 27, 2025, at the School of Engineering and Technology, Kohima Campus, Nagaland University. Prof. Brajesh Kumar Dubey from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur was the invited speaker for the seminar. Prof. Prabhakar Sharma, Head of the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, introduced the speaker and welcomed the participants. Prof. Sujata Dash, Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology, felicitated Prof. Dubey for delivering the lecture.
In his presentation on “Mitigating Plastic Pollution: Challenges, Sustainable Solutions, and Policy Imperatives,” Prof. Dubey emphasized various aspects of plastic pollution and the associated problems. Many faculty members and research scholars attended the seminar and actively participated in the discussions. The seminar concluded with a note of appreciation from Prof. Prabhakar Sharma.
Following the seminar, Prof. Sujata Dash and Prof. Prabhakar Sharma interacted with Prof. Dubey to explore potential future collaborations between Nagaland University and IIT Kharagpur.
