Mokokchung has joined hands in the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan (SNSPA) from 17th September to 2nd October 2025, a nationwide health campaign focused on improving the health and nutrition of women and children across India. The campaign underscores the crucial role of women’s health in building stronger families and a healthier nation.

SNSPA campaign underway in Mokokchung
The Department of Health & Family Welfare, Mokokchung, has been conducting the SNSPA campaign at 36 health units across the district and will continue until 2nd October 2025. During the campaign, services such as screening for non-communicable diseases (NCDs), oral/dental care, ENT, eye, paediatric, maternal and child health, Ayurveda, immunization, and awareness and behavioral change initiatives are being provided.

In parallel, the District RBSK Team is conducting a screening drive in government schools and Anganwadi centres across the district as part of the campaign.

ASHAs and Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) have been playing a vital role in community mobilization and guiding patients to health centres during the ongoing initiative.
