The 1st phase Social Audit District Level Public Hearing under MGNREGA and PMAY-G for Kohima and Tseminyu Districts of Chiephobozou and Chunlikha Blocks was held on the 2nd of July 2024 at the DPDB Conference Hall, Kohima. Kevilhoubei-ii, Project Director cum DPC, DRDA, Kohima, was the chairperson for the hearing.
Imtitoshi I Jamir, Director, NSSAA, SAU, Nagaland, gave the introduction on Social Audit. He mentioned that the implementation of the scheme should have transparency and accountability. The Social Audit findings were presented by Imsusenla Longchar, DRP, and Keneiseii Sopfii, BRP of NSSAA, SAU, Nagaland. Twenty-five villages from these two blocks were audited.
The program concluded with the reading of the village-wise Gram Sabha resolution and a vote of thanks by the chairperson.
