Mokokchung, October 28 (MTNews): The official website of Soul House Academy, Mokokchung, was formally launched Sentinenla, District Education Officer (DEO) Mokokchung on Friday during a brief formal program. Soul House Academy was formerly known as The Tree House, Tongdentsüyong Ward, Mokokchung.
Sentinenla, DEO Mokokchung, in her remarks, praised the principal and faculty for taking such great care of the young pupils and moulding them for a bright future.
She went on to remark that Soul House Academy was one of the best schools for young minds since it provides pupils with a solid foundation.
The DEO emphasized the importance of foundational numeracy and literacy in the NEP 2020, stating that many school children in Nagaland, particularly those in government schools, lacked basic competence in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
She also stated that life skills should be fostered in order for young students to discover their talents as the current world requires it.
During a short address, Arenla Lemtur, Principal of Soul House Academy, stated that the launch of the website www.soulhouseacademy.in aimed to make a digital presence and to be on a par with modern society.
She also mentioned that Soul House Academy was previously known as The Tree House when it first opened its doors six years ago.
However, she highlighted that the name change intended to reflect the school’s progress and to complement its motto, “Ignite the extraordinary spirit.”
Earlier, Martin Chishi, a parent and member of the academy’s Managing Committee delivered a brief exhortation while a dedicatory prayer was offered by Rev. Chuba, Associate Pastor MTBA.
