Kohima, 1 March (MTNews): Speaker Sharingain Longkumer shared his reflections on the fourth session of the 14th NLA before adjourning the session sine die at the NLA Secretariat in Kohima on March 1, 2024.

Breaking away from traditional conventions, he offered an apolitical view on the Budget 2024-2025 and the conduct of Members of the august House. He praised the presented budget as one of the finest before the august House, expressing sincere gratitude to the Chief Minister, who is the Minister-in-Charge of Finance, for its formulation. Describing the budget as holistic, progressive, and people-centric, he emphasized its humane approach and comprehensive coverage necessary for the socio-economic upliftment of the people and the State.
