The 37th biennial general conference of the Satakha Range Students Union (SRSU), held from January 13-16, 2025, at Tukunasa Village under the theme “Sustainable Future through Academic Integrity,” concluded on January 16, 2025.
The extravaganza night on January 16 was graced by Aronto Zhimomi, Personal Secretary to the Minister of PWD, Roads, and Bridges, Government of Nagaland, as the Guest of Honour. Zhimomi underscored the importance of self-dependence, emphasizing the need for students to believe in themselves and strive for a successful life, which God has gifted them.
Zhimomi praised the Satakha Range Students Union for gathering approximately 1,500 students at the conference, calling it a testament to the student community’s progress and participation.
He encouraged the students to continue contributing to their community and to take a step forward with the rest of the Naga communities. Zhimomi urged the student community to uphold the values of dignity in labor, hard work, honesty, and integrity in order to become successful and lead exemplary lives.
Furthermore, Zhimomi emphasized that technology has become a vital part of daily life. He urged the student community to use technology judiciously for the benefit of the community, academic studies, and careers, without allowing it to hinder their student life.
