Dimapur, November 3 (MTNews): With the goal of instilling pro-environmental behavior in students, the Department of Political Science at St. Joseph University, in collaboration with Renjanthung L Patton, founder of Act for India, organized an interactive session with PG and UG students on the importance of reducing single-use plastic on September 7, 2022. As part of this initiative, 95 students and 14 teachers ordered personalized water bottles.

Following this, on November 3, 2022, water bottles with the department’s logo were distributed to students, along with a pledge to help reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles.

The goal of this initiative is to encourage students to adopt pro-environmental behavior and fulfill their fundamental responsibility to protect and preserve the environment.
