The Sümi Hoho, along with representatives from the Sümi Kükami Hoho, Sümi Totimi Hoho, Zunheboto Town Council, and the Zunheboto Town GBs Association, conducted an inspection of the PMGSY road from Zungti to Tsaphimi via Saptiqa. The inspection was led by Sümi Hoho President, Dr. Vihuto Asumi, with the objective of ensuring quality road construction for the benefit of the public.
Following the inspection, the Sümi Hoho team held a meeting with the contractor, emphasizing the need for adherence to project specifications and the delivery of a durable and high-quality road. The team also assured full cooperation with the contractor to facilitate smooth execution of the work.
During the discussion, the contractor highlighted certain technical and practical challenges faced during the construction and sought support from the Sümi Hoho and the civil society organizations. In response, the Sümi Hoho reaffirmed its commitment to extending necessary assistance while urging the contractor to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of the project.
Concluding the meeting, the team offered prayers for the contractor and the successful completion of the road construction, underscoring the collective hope for infrastructure development that will benefit the region.
