A new clothing store, ‘Süoshi,’ was officially inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Thsuvusie Phoji in Arkong Ward, Mokokchung, on 17th February 2025. Located next to PC Garage, the store aims to bring a fresh transformation to the fashion scene in Mokokchung and beyond.


Owned by Moamenla Longkumer, a passionate fashion enthusiast, the store aims to offer high-quality and affordable clothing to the people of Mokokchung and neighboring districts. The name ‘Süoshi’ draws inspiration from the Mongsen and Chungli languages, connecting the store with the local culture.

Moamenla Longkumer expressed her gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Phoji for attending the event. She also extended thanks to her parents, family, friends, and team for their unwavering support in making the store a reality.

Deputy Commissioner Thsuvusie Phoji, in his address, highlighted the tremendous entrepreneurial potential in Mokokchung. He encouraged local entrepreneurs to seize the many startup opportunities in the region, contributing to economic growth and development.

Süoshi boasts a wide range of clothing and accessories for men, women, and children, including traditional attire and bridal wear. The store also focuses on delivering exceptional customer service both in-store and online, partnering with Ilandlo for its delivery services.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by notable guests, including Mokokchung Municipal Council Councillor Wabang Kichu, Assistant Commissioner of District Administration Mokokchung, and several others. The event marked a significant addition to Mokokchung’s commercial landscape, with Süoshi poised to make an impact on the local economy.
