The Seyochung Village Students’ Union (SVSU) has raised concerns over the lack of Aadhar cards among students in Seyochung Town and Seyochung Village, which is hindering their ability to register for the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (AAPAR) portal. This issue affects students’ educational records and their access to various benefits.
During a visit to St Mary High School, Seyochung Town, and Government High School, Seyochung Village, on March 17, the SVSU identified that out of 493 students in St Mary High School, around 200 students do not have Aadhar cards. Additionally, at Government High School, Seyochung Village, 24 out of 30 students face the same issue.
In a letter addressed to the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Seyochung HQ, the union has requested the establishment of a permanent Aadhar Enrollment Centre in Seyochung Town. This, according to the students, would make the enrollment process easier for students and residents, ensuring better access to crucial documentation.
The union has also acknowledged the efforts made by the local authorities to address these challenges and urged them to take immediate steps to alleviate the difficulties faced by the students and the community.
This is a great resource. Thanks for putting it together!
