The final match of the tournament witnessed Team Fuzz and Dynamic Sports Active go all out against each other with the former winning the toss and electing to bat first.

Team Fuzz’s Sanjay, Santosh and Sunep showed exceptional range as the trio posted 31, 31 and 23 runs respectively. However, DSA’s Dipankar and Rahul Kumar took 3 wickets each leaving behind little room for extras. Team Fuzz had to do the hard work to set the target at a run rate of little over 8 runs per over, ultimately finishing with a formidable total of 166 for 6 wickets in 20 overs.

In the run chase, DSA’s Chaman clinched his half century but the wickets kept falling at regular intervals at the other end of the crease.

DSA lost three of their top-order batsmen cheaply. Openers Shamphri (2) and Andrew (4) as well as No.3 batsman Raja Lama (0) were all dismissed with just 6 runs between them and their team was never going to recover from the early setback.

DSA could not accelerate from their slow start as Team Fuzz’s strike bowlers Raja, Bidesi and Sunil dismissed DSA for a paltry 93 runs by claiming 4, 2 and 2 wickets respectively, winning the match emphatically in just 16.4 overs with 20 balls to spare. Team Fuzz won the match by 73 runs. Apart from Chaman, none of the other DSA batsmen reached the double-digit mark.

The champions received a sum of Rs 40000 and the runners-up Rs 25000 as prize money along with citations.
