Longjang, 08 April (MTNews): Nagaland Advisor for Law and Justice and Land Revenue, TN Mannen, said that there is strength in unity and expressed his hope that the 23 Impur A/C, which he said has been lagging behind for the past two decades, will be developed at par with others. Speaking at his thanksgiving program that was held on Saturday at the community hall of his native Longjang village, the Advisor further expressed that his wish and main objective was to let Asetkong range unite as one and find out ways for its development.
He also expressed his belief that there will definitely be change in the area and further called for reposing faith in God to lead the people. He further called upon all to forget the election as it is now over but take it as a blessing and begin afresh keeping in mind the interest and future of the area.
Earlier in the program, short speeches were delivered by all the council chairmen of all the villages and towns under the constituency as well as various political parties including the NDPP and BJP.
The program also witnessed the presentation of two special songs by Tiameren Aier. The vote of thanks was delivered by M Temjen Jamir, president, Longjang Senso Mungdang. The special prayer of blessing was offered by Senti Longchar, Pastor Longjang Baptist church.
