Mopungchuket, 17 April (MTNews): TN Mannen, IAS (Retd) and Advisor for Law & Justice, Land Revenue, wrapped up his campaign tour for the PDA consensus candidate, Dr Chumben Murry, at the 23 Impur Constituency on 17 April 2024.
Addressing a gathering at Mopungchuket village, the Advisor emphasized that the PDA consensus candidate, Dr Chumben Murry, representing the NDPP, stands for inclusivity and is not against any religion or particular section of the people. He highlighted the alliance between BJP, part of the ruling PDA government in the state, and the National central government.
Expressing his support for Dr Chumben Murry, the Advisor stated, “Dr. Chumben Murry will be the most capable candidate to represent the Nagas and can safeguard and defend the rights of our people in the lower house.”
The Advisor also voiced his optimism for the BJP-led alliance to retain power at the center, emphasizing the importance of a strong alliance with the central government for resource-poor states like Nagaland. He asserted that electing Dr Chumben Murry would be the ideal choice for the state’s benefit.
Encouraging unity among the constituency people, the Advisor urged the gathering to move forward and set aside past misunderstandings due to political differences for the overall progress of the Impur constituency.
Mayangnungba, President of NDPP, Mokokchung region, along with several NDPP Mokokchung region officials, also addressed the gathering at Mopungchuket village. Following the event, the Advisor visited his native village, Longjang village, for a public meeting.
