In view of the current road conditions between Dimapur and Kohima, the Transport Department, Government of Nagaland, has introduced a daily helicopter service (Monday to Friday) to connect the two locations until road conditions improve.
The department informed that the service aims to provide safe and reliable transportation for commuters facing difficulties due to the deteriorated road condition along the NH-29 route.
