The District Administration Niuland, in collaboration with the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), declared the winners of the Tree Plantation Competition held under the aegis of BBBP at Niuland on April 6, 2026, at the DC’s Conference Hall.
The event was chaired by Kelengunuo Solo, who highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and community involvement in such initiatives.
Sara S Jamir delivered a brief address and declared the winners, emphasising the importance of environmental conservation and the role of youth in promoting sustainability.
The winners of the competition were awarded and encouraged to continue their efforts in promoting sustainability and environmental awareness in their communities.
Parents of girl children actively participated, showcasing their commitment to a greener future. V Vily Chophy proposed the vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of all participants and organisers in making the event a success.
