Following the locking of the Tuensang District Congress Committee (DCC) Office, the DCC Tuensang has strongly condemned the locking of the DCC Tuensang Congress Bhavan by “unidentified individuals” on the evening of November 25. Terming the act a violation of the constitutions of the All-India Congress Committee (AICC) and the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), the DCC held an emergency meeting at the residence of its president, Chotsase Sangtam, to discuss the matter.

During the meeting, the committee expressed its disapproval of the incident, calling it a direct affront to party values and operations. It was resolved to file a police First Information Report (FIR) against those responsible for locking the office. However, the DCC stated that it would await further directives from the NPCC before proceeding with legal action.

The DCC Tuensang reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the party’s principles and ensuring that justice is pursued in this matter. The meeting concluded with a firm resolve to uphold party discipline and take necessary measures to address the issue.
