Kohima, 14 September (MTNews): Two bills, “The Nagaland Goods and Services Tax (Seventh Amendment) Bill, 2023,” and the “Nagaland Anatomy Bill, 2023,” were passed during the final day of the second session of the monsoon session. Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio presented two critical documents before the Assembly. Firstly, he submitted the “Amendment of Rule 50 & 51 of the Nagaland Staff Selection Board Regulations-2020.” He also presented the “Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India on Social, Economic, General, and Revenue Sectors for the year ending on March 31, 2022.”

 

Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Sharingain Longkumer, took a moment to express his heartfelt gratitude to all legislators, government officials, security personnel, and members of the media fraternity for their unwavering cooperation and dedication during the session. In his closing statement, Speaker Longkumer officially adjourned the second session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly sine die, marking its conclusion at the Assembly Hall on September 14, 2023.
