A two-day orientation program for Ao subject teachers was held on April 23 and 24 at EBRC, Mokokchung. A total of 40 teachers from various schools and colleges across the district attended the program.
The orientation program on the introduction of “A Comprehensive Course in Ao” for Class IX was organized by the Directorate of School Education and Ao Riju, Mokokchung.
Resource persons included Meyimangyang of CMHSS, Impur, who spoke on grammar and narration; I Temjen Tzüdir, Publishing Head, Ao Riju, who covered prose and composition; and Dr Chubatola Aier, Principal of C-Edge College, Dimapur, who spoke on poetry writing.
The program featured interactive sessions based on the topics presented by the resource persons. District Education Officer Sentinenla and Ao Riju Chairman Prof. Rev. Rongsen Longkumer also addressed the gathering.
