Kohima, 22 February (MTNews): The Directorate of Information & Public Relations commenced the two-day training on the Public Address System on Thursday, 22nd February 2024, at the DIPR Conference Hall in Kohima.
The training is being imparted to Technical Supervisors, Senior Operators, Operators, and Assistant Operators from six districts: Kohima, Dimapur, Wokha, Mokokchung, Phek, and Peren in the first phase, and five more districts, including Zunheboto, Tuensang, Longleng, Mon, and Kiphire in the second phase.
Director of Information & Public Relations, Dzüvinuo Theünuo, in her inaugural address, encouraged the trainees to be diligent in their work and to take due and proper care of the PA systems.
The trainees were also addressed by senior officials of the Department and were encouraged to be diligent and confident in their job.
The practical session of the program includes hands-on training on PA systems, including Amplifier, Speaker, Mixer connections, Drive Unit connections, LMT, Battery series connections, etc.
