On Monday, the Dove Center Montessori School, located in Ungma village, organized a special event called the “Traditional Day” program. The primary objective of this program was to foster a sense of cultural awareness and appreciation for their costumes and traditions among the young toddlers.
Alemla, the school’s proprietor, shared that as an essential aspect of their curriculum, they introduced the children to basic folk songs, which they enthusiastically performed in front of their proud parents during the program. Furthermore, the proprietor ensured that the children also learned about traditional attire, emphasizing the significance of preserving and understanding their cultural heritage from an early age.
