Seven candidates file nomination in Wokha district
Wokha, February 6 (MTNews): Seven candidates from Wokha including two from 37 Tyui AC, two from 38 Wokha AC and three from 39 Sanis AC filed their nominations today before their respective Returning Officer.
Deputy CM and Home Minister Yanthungo Patton was accompanied by Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda and Ex-MLA Yankithung Yanthan while filing his nomination before the Returning Officer at 37 Tyui AC from BJP. Yibemo Kikon also filed his nomination from the RJD party the same day in the same constituency.
Meanwhile, in 38 Wokha AC, BJP National Spokesperson and in-charge Nagaland State, Nalin Kohli accompanied Renpothung Ezung of BJP for his nomination while Y Mhonbemo Humtsoe filed his nomination from NCP under 38-Wokha AC.
Mhathung Yanthan from NDPP, Dr Rolland from NPF and Sulanthung H Lotha from LJP also filed their nominations before the Returning Officer today under 39 Sanis AC.
