Phek, February 6 (MTNews): Kudecho Khamo, the NDPP candidate for 18 Chozuba Assembly Constituency (AC) on Monday launched his election campaign for the ensuing 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly general election at Chetheba town in Phek district.
Addressing a large gathering, he acknowledged the leadership of the NDPP led by party president Chingwang Konyak, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and others for allotting him the party ticket and thanked the unflinching support of the party workers and prayers he has received thus far.
Stating that Chief Minister Niephiu Rio will continue to be on the chair, he called upon the people to join hands towards the journey of “transformation and excellence.”
Meanwhile, Zacüto Nyekha, president 18th Chozuba mandal BJP in his address assured that the BJP units under Chozuba AC will give their support to the NDPP candidate as part of the alliance.
Thupukhruo Ringa advisor, NDPP 18 Chozuba AC , Nuzota Swuro ex-MLA and NDPP vice president also spoke during the occasion.
Khamo filled his nomination paper for General Election 2023 on Monday at Chozuba Town for 18-Chozuba Assembly Constituency.
A temporary NDPP office was also inaugurated at Chozuba Town on Monday evening for the forthcoming general election. Khamo inaugurated the office and expressed hope that the office will benefit the party workers to work together and strengthen the party in the constituency.
