Representatives from Uniqlo India visited Nagaland University on April 24 and interacted with senior faculty members and university officials, marking a significant step towards future collaboration.

The delegation included Kenji Inoue, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer; Kanta Nagasaki, Store HR Manager; and Kamlika Deka, General Manager (Human Resources).
Prof. Lungsang Zeliang, Convenor of the Placement Cell, welcomed the delegation and appreciated the growing partnership between Nagaland University and Uniqlo India.
The interaction session was attended by members of the Placement Cell, Heads of the Departments of Management, Commerce and Linguistics (COEFL), Deputy Registrar Metsizolie Medoze, and officials of IDAN.
This was followed by a seminar attended by postgraduate students of Management and Commerce, including those pursuing BBA programmes, along with students of Japanese Studies and other departments.
Speaking on the occasion, university officials expressed optimism over the possibilities for academic and professional engagement arising from the visit.
The visit is expected to open avenues for collaboration in areas such as student placements, skill development and industry-academia partnerships between Nagaland University and Uniqlo India.
