The United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) has expressed concern about the deteriorating road conditions on National Highway-202, particularly the stretch between New Chungliyimti Village and Angangba Village under Tuensang.

In a letter addressed to the Executive Engineer of PWD National Highway Tuensang, the USSC highlighted that the current state of this vital transportation link poses a significant threat to the safety and well-being of the citizens of Longkhim-Chare, as well as to all commuters traveling along the highway to and from Tuensang HQ, Shamator, and Noklak districts.

Furthermore, the USSC cautioned that the Department would be held responsible if any untoward incidents occur due to these poor road conditions. The conference also expressed its willingness to discuss the matter further if the need arises.
