Zunheboto, 6 November (MTNews): The Vigilance Awareness Week, as directed by the CVC, was observed at Nagaland University from October 31, 2023, to November 5, 2023. During this period, there was a strong emphasis on the importance of vigilance for both citizens and organizations. An academic resource person, Prof Dasarathi Bhuyian from the Political Science department, delivered a brief lecture on the topic of anti-corruption, offering insights and opinions that were quite informative.
The pledge was administered and guided by the Registrar, Dr Abemo, with the participation of important officials and staff of the University. The program was chaired by Mrs Priyanka Sengar, IAO, NU, and formally welcomed by Mrs Angunuo Kheiya, DR Finance/ DDO. The event concluded with a vote of thanks given by Mr Kahoshe Sumi, DR Finance/ GAD. The program was attended by faculty members, administrative staff, and students.
