Vinoho Phiyie from PM Shri GHSS Chümoukedima emerged as the winner of the Inter-District Science Seminar on the theme ”Cybersecurity in the Digital Era: Saving Our Digital Assets” held today at Rüzhükhrie GHSS, Kohima.
Asha Rai from GHSS Singrijan and Noor Hussain from GHS Sarbura secured the second and third positions respectively.
Two consolation prizes were awarded to Partha Jyoti Das of GHS Chandmari, Kohima, and Ayu Chailing of Rüzhükhrie GHSS, Kohima.
Earlier, the seminar was graced by Razouseyi Vese, Director of School Education, Nagaland, who attended the opening ceremony as the special guest.
Organised by the Directorate of School Education, Nagaland, the seminar witnessed participation from 19 students representing various schools: GHS Tseminyu New Town, GHS PWD Kohima, PM Shri GHS Nahalbari, GHSS Chukitong, GHSS Wokha Town, PM Shri GHS Wokha Village, GHSS Sungro, GHSS Diphupar A, GHSS Jotsoma, Rüzhükhrie GHSS Kohima, GHSS Lengrijan, GHSS Purana Bazar, GHSS Tseminyu, GHS Chandmari, GHS Kandinu, PM Shri GHSS Chümoukedima, and GHSS Singrijan.
The welcome address was delivered by Chandra Kant Bharti, Principal of Rüzhükhrie GHSS, Kohima. The programme was chaired by Kekhrieneino C. Senotsu, PGT at Rüzhükhrie GHSS, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Gloria Ezung, Assistant Director, Directorate of School Education.
The panel of judges for the event included Daniel Thong, Vilakhole Naki, and Temsukaba Longkumer from SCERT Nagaland.
