The Watsü Units from all over Nagaland joined people across the globe in marking the World Environment Day under the theme ‘One Earth’, an update from Watsü Mungdang said.
The Watsu Mungdang in Mokokchung cleaned and planted saplings at Women Development Centre at Marepkong Ward and cleaned the MMC complex and visited the IMDH and planted saplings to mark the occasion, focused on “Living sustainably in harmony with nature.” Celebrating the day encourages awareness and action to protect our environment, President of Watsü Mungdang Arenla Longkumer said.
