A public weighing machine was installed at the clock tower in Tuensang town on 26th May 2022 by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and Administrator Tuensang Town Council (TTC) Thungchanbemo Tungoe along with Ward Authority and Tuensang Chamber of Commerce & Industries.
During the installation, ADC said the weighing machine is for the use of the general public and can make use of it when they are unsatisfied with the weighing scale of any meat/ fish stalls or any shopkeepers. This has been set up to curb the menace of tempering weighing scale.
