The Western Sumi Hoho (WSH), along with all its frontal organisations and area chairmen, on June 24 resolved to promote strong relationships and mutual respect among all tribes, stressing unity, peace, understanding and peaceful coexistence among communities.

The Hoho also issued an advisory on the use of social media, cautioning that misuse of digital platforms to criticise, spread hatred or provoke social disharmony will invite strict disciplinary action. It stated, “Any misuse of social media to criticise or spread hatred or provoke and disturb social harmony against others will result in strict disciplinary action.”
The WSH further resolved to extend its support for an early and peaceful resolution of the Indo-Naga political issue.
In addition, the organisation decided to address issues related to oil and natural resources in Western Sumi areas. It announced the formation of the Western Sumi Area Oil and Natural Resources Committee, which will function under the Western Sumi Hoho.
The Hoho also resolved to constitute a separate committee to look into border-related issues, which will likewise function under its supervision.
