The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bailey Baptist College, Wokha, organized a one-day workshop on Assessment and Accreditation today. The event featured Dr Watijungshi Jamir, Retired Additional Director of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland, as the resource person.


The workshop comprised two sessions moderated by T Penthungo Lotha, Principal (Acting), and Leonard Mozhui, Head of the Department of English. The first session, “Introductory Talk on Assessment and Accreditation,” set the stage for understanding the accreditation process, while the second session, “Assessment and Accreditation: Quality Indicator Framework (QIF),” delved into key quality benchmarks.

Dr Apeni Lotha, President of the Governing Body emphasized the significance of accreditation in enhancing institutional excellence.

Leonard Mozhui summarized the key takeaways of the sessions. This was followed by a vote of thanks from Achumbeni Humtsoe, Vice Principal, who expressed gratitude to the resource person, organizers, and participants for making the event a success.

A special number was presented by Dr N Yanpothung Ezung, Head of the Department of Sociology.
