Drugs worth Rs 3,149,800 were destroyed on 14 October 2024 at the Wokha Town Council dumping site. The destroyed consignments included Spasmo Proxyvon, Nitrozepam, Saltumol, Alprazolam, and brown sugar.
The destroyed drugs were seized on different occasions between 2020 and 2022, during which 15 cases were registered under the Wokha Police Station.
The consignments were destroyed in the presence of SP Wokha Aotula T Imchen (IPS), SDPO Wokha, EAC (Judl) Wokha, Prosecuting Inspector, and staff.
