An Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) team, led by Dr Watijungshi, retired Addl Director of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland as Convenor, along with Dr K Nishena Nekha, Addl Director of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland, and Dr Ketoukhrieu, IQAC Coordinator of Kohima College as members, visited Zunheboto Government College (ZGC) on April 14 as part of the state-level audit committee in preparation for the 2nd Cycle of NAAC Assessment.


The event began with a PowerPoint presentation by H. Jekugha Sema, Vice Principal of Zunheboto Govt. College, who provided a report on the college’s profile and infrastructure enhancements. This was followed by a presentation by Tiasunep Ozukum, IQAC Coordinator, who discussed the AQAR, Self Study Report, and the academic enhancement programs and activities conducted under the initiative of IQAC.

Further, departmental reports for the last five years were presented by the heads of all departments, including the college librarian.

The team also held meetings and interactions with alumni members, teaching faculty, student council, and non-teaching staff separately. Following this, the team visited and verified various college facilities, including the library, ICT facilities, museum, computer room, classrooms, students’ leaders, girls’ common room, faculty room, laboratories, non-teaching staff room, account section, washrooms, and different cells.

An exit meeting was held with the Principal, faculty, non-teaching staff, and student leaders, where the team members shared their key observations and gave some recommendations and suggestions for improvement of the college.
