The 19th Imchaba Master Memorial Nagaland Open Volleyball Trophy 2026, organised by the Mokokchung District Volleyball Association (MDVA), will be held from September 22 to 25 at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex, Mokokchung.
The tournament will feature 14 teams from across Nagaland, with the opening match between Pangti Volleyball Team and Longsa Sports Association at 1:30 p.m. on September 22.
The teams have been divided into four pools. Pool A comprises Pangti Volleyball Team, Longsa Sports Association, Bokato Memorial Team and Chienno Brothers Kiruphema. Pool B has Changtongya Volleyball Association, Twin Brothers Chungtia, Unicorns Tuensang and Zenith Pughoboto.
Phoenix Club, Evergreen Club Ungma and Savage Setters Volleyball Club Chungtia are in Pool C, while Pool D consists of Yangs Brother, Khangshang Volleyball Academy and MH-10 Kohima.
The top two teams from each pool will advance to the quarterfinals. Pool A winners will face Pool B runners-up, Pool B winners will meet Pool A runners-up, Pool C winners will play Pool D runners-up and Pool D winners will face Pool C runners-up.
League matches will be played in best-of-three sets, while knockout matches will be best-of-five sets.
The tournament carries a total prize money of Rs 2.20 lakh. The champion will receive Rs 1 lakh and the runner-up Rs 70,000, while the third- and fourth-placed teams will receive Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively.
Individual awards for Best Spiker, Best Setter, Player of the Tournament and Emerging Player will carry Rs 5,000 each. Teams failing to reach the semifinals will receive a Rs 5,000 participation grant, while teams travelling from outside Mokokchung will be eligible for travel assistance of up to Rs 5,000.
Evergreen Club Ungma are the defending champions.
