Kohima, July 1 (MTNews): A total of 20 Taekwondo players representing Nagaland state are participating at the Open India Kukkiwon Dispatched Master Championship organized by Titabor Dojang Taekwondo Academy from July 1- 3 at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium Jorhat, Assam.

The team is led by Visabiu Peseyie, state taekwondo coach with Khrieto as manager.

Coach Peseyie said the team from Sports Academy, IG Stadium, Kohima representing the state are participating in Kyorugi (sparring) competition. He said the championship brings together promising athletes from all over the country with a platform to showcase their talent and hoped his students can perform at par with the participating teams from different states.

The players along with the coach and manager at Jorhat, Assam on Friday.
