It may be mentioned here that the NPP is fielding Nuklutoshi, a former Nagaland minister, to contest in the 22-Arkakong assembly constituency in the general elections to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly scheduled for February 27. The former Minister was in the BJP and was in-charge of Mokokchung district who recently joined the NPP after he was denied the BJP ticket to contest in the ensuing general elections.

The NPP Mokokchung Unit claimed that Nuklutoshi has the “strongest position in the constituency” and that the supporters have promised their unwavering support to the candidate and to “fight till the end.”
