Kohima, 15 September: The 26th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy will be held from November 13 to December 3, 2026, with the grand finale coinciding with the Hornbill Festival, the Angami Students’ Union organising committee announced on Tuesday evening at the ASU office.

The tournament is being organised by the Angami Students’ Union (ASU) under the aegis of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), with support from the Nagaland Olympic Association and in collaboration with Hornbill Festival 2026.
Teams from different states are expected to participate in the upcoming championship. The last date for entries is October 24, while fixtures will be drawn on November 2. The registration fee is Rs 300 and the entry fee is Rs 7,000.
The total prize pool stands at Rs 8.80 lakh, with the champions receiving Rs 3.50 lakh and the runners-up Rs 2 lakh. Individual awards and Player of the Match honours will also be presented.
The organisers have also invited firms and agencies to partner through advertisements and promotional activities.
Meanwhile, the ASU will organise a cultural fiesta on September 21 under the theme “Together in Culture, Together in Harmony”, bringing together tribal student bodies in Kohima to promote cultural understanding and Naga unity. (SportsLiveNagaland)
