Impur, December 4 (MTNews): The 64th Impur Bible School convocation was held on December 4 at Impur Baptist Church. A total of 29 students graduated from the school this year. As part of the convocation ceremony, various awards were also given away, which included the Longrisemba General Contribution Award, Rev. Ayutemjen Best Conduct Award, Ex-Pastor T. Meren Imchen Dignity of Labour Award, and Academic Excellence Award.

 

The annual Jemtimenba Mollier Foundation (JMF) also awards best Ao language learners among the first year and fourth year students. Ao language is the medium of instruction at Impur Bible School. Pontsa Khaimniungan and Martha were presented the JMF award among the first year and fourth year students respectively.

 

Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary ABAM spoke at the convocation based on the theme ‘Let your light shine’.
