The Fifth Session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) has been scheduled for the 27th and 29th of August, 2024.

In preparation for this, the Governor of Nagaland has declared the 24th of August, 2024 (a Saturday), as a working day for all State Government offices located in Kohima. This decision has been communicated through a notification issued today by Dr J Alam, IAS, Chief Secretary to the Government of Nagaland.

NLA lists provisional program of business

Kohima, 19 August: The Nagaland Legislative Assembly has issued the Provisional Programme of Business for the 15th Session of the 14th State Assembly. The session will start on August 27 with an obituary reference, followed by questions and reporting on the assent of bills.

The first day of the session will include a discussion on matters of urgent public importance. It will also feature the introduction of government bills, the laying of annual administrative reports, the presentation of Assembly Committee reports, and other matters.
