Mokokchung, January 5 (MTNews): The District Welfare Officer, Mokokchung has informed all beneficiaries drawing Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, Disability Pension under National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) scheme that the payment for six months will be disbursed to those who have not received the benefit through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for the period 2021-22 with effect from 11th January 2023 at District Welfare Office, Mokokchung during office working hours.
“Those beneficiaries who have not submitted bank account details are hereby informed to produce a photocopy of their bank account passbook and that henceforth no payment will be made to those beneficiaries without bank account,” the District Welfare Officer also informed.
It was also informed that the authorized persons for those beneficiaries who cannot come personally should produce Life Certificate of the beneficiaries from the respective Pastor of the Church along with the pension Payment Book of all the beneficiaries under its jurisdiction to draw the pension benefits.
