A four-member team of Ao Senden officials led by its president Chubawati Longchar inspected the ongoing construction works of Mokokchung-Mariani road NH-702D on October 11.

It may be recalled that the Ao Senden gave a grace period of 20 days to the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) and a private firm Trident Enterprises after its earlier ultimatum issued on September 12 to “restore and make NH 702D motorable” expired on September 20. The grace period came into effect from September 22.
This was their fourth inspection visit since the ultimatum was first served on September 12.
