Mokokchung, October 25 (MTNews): The United Nations Day 2022 was observed in Fazl Ali College (FAC), Mokokchung on October 25 under the theme “Russia-Ukraine War and Beyond” which was organized by the Political Science Association, an offshoot of the Department of Political Science, FAC.
Since 2019, the Political Science Association has been organizing an Annual Lecture to commemorate the UN Foundation Day on October 24. However, this year, the Annual Lecture was held on October 25 as the UN Day coincided with the Deepawali holiday.
Dr. Phyobenthung, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science delivered the Annual Lecture on the given theme.
Meanwhile, Tiarenla and Longkuengpong, 3rd and 5th Semester Political Science Honors students presented a paper on Climate Crisis and Human Rights issues.
The program was chaired by Kushemyimjong Chang, Assistant Professor, and Yashikala Jamir Ao, Assistant Professor, delivered the concluding remark.
