Wokha, January 25 (MTNews): In a short program held at Wokha Village Public Ground, several supporters of Dr Chumben Murry of Wokha village committed their support towards YM Humtsoe for the forthcoming Nagaland State Legislative Assembly election slated on February 27, 2023.

 

 

According to a press release received here, around a thousand members from Wokha village turned up and reiterated to move forward in support of YM Humtsoe while expressing their dismay over the functioning and ruling of the former leaders.

 

They expressed that 38 Wokha Assembly Constituency being the Headquarter of Wokha District has seen no development or progress during the past 15 years. The members at the gathering also stated that Wokha District in general and 38 A/C in particular needed a visionary leader like YM Humtsoe.

 

It may be mentioned here that Dr Chumben Murry, incumbent MLA from 38 Wokha Assembly Constituency and Advisor, Law & Justice Department, was elected in 2018 with an NPF ticket but later switched over to NDPP. He defeated YM Humtsoe who then contested on a JDU ticket.
