Impur, 22 March (MTNews): A Sensitization cum Workshop on Palliative Care was held at Impur Christian Hospital (ICH) on 22 March as a healing ministry by ABAM in order to inculcate the importance of palliative care so that the churches can access the ill people in their localities and avail proper care available at Impur Christian Hospital.
Dr Obangjungla, the resource person in her presentation, said that palliative care has become an important concern for both Churches and organizations as it has become inevitable in all localities.
“Palliative care initiated by the Impur Christian Hospital is a massive move towards calling for mass initiatives,” she said.
She also expressed concern for spiritual care and appealed to the church in particular stating that the best way the church can do to the ill person before anything happens is to lead them to the understanding of the real meaning of life’s existence and the purpose of God for every individual.
“As ICH continues to avail palliative care, we pray for many to come and get the best care and be relieved,” she said.
The Impur Christian Hospital (ICH) Sensitization cum Workshop on Palliative Care was sponsored by ABAM where 37 individuals comprising the leaders from 7 Churches of ABAM and the ICH staff participated.
