Impur, 14 April (MTNews): A ‘Contextual training’ for Associate Pastor Youth was organized by ABAM Youth Ministry which was held from 11 to 14 April at Pine Book Centre, Umbang, Meghalaya.
“In a context of constant pluralistic challenges faced by the Youths today, a contextual approach has become one fundamental tool to aptly deal with the challenges,” an update received here said. The training was organized after having noticed the urgent need for such an approach, it added.
A total of 89 Associate Pastor Youth attended the training.
The speakers at the training were: Rev Dr Aowapang, Pastor, Guwahati Ao BA; Rev Dr Meyu Changkiri, Pastor, Shillong Ao BA; Butisen Ozüküm; Imli P Lemtur, Pastor, Jorhat Ao BA; Toshi Sanglir, Secretary, ABAM YM and Teka Imchen, Coordinator, ABAM YM.
“May God give his grace and help to our leaders as they give their efforts to rightly nurture the youths,” a press release from the ABAM Executive, Rev Dr Mar Pongener said.
