Mokokchung, 13 August (MTNews): The NSCN-R (Akato) has expressed deep pain over the passing of Rev Dr Luhoyi Jakha, a pioneer, a philanthropist, a social and religious reformer on 12 August.

 

In a condolence message, NSCN-R (Akato) president Akato Chophi said the “long life of the late Reverend to the ripe old age of 105 years and who was also blessed with five children and a host of grandchildren and great great grandchildren, is a testimony in itself, of God’s blessings and beaming love who treasured and sustained his life to the fullest.”

 

The legacy he left behind in many social and religious aspects, mired with selfless sacrifices and dedications, where he sincerely served under various capacities will be well cherished, but which had also left a void in our hearts, for he was a guardian angel to one and all, the condolence message read. It also said a prayer that the family of the deceased finds solace and comfort.
